Successful Art Auction for Save the Point

Thanks to artists Michel Tuffery, Michael Smither, Ian Hamlin, Judith Trevelyan, sculptor Nick Dryden and ceramic artist Katherine Smyth who all donated pieces for an art auction to help pay for Save the Point’s Environment Court costs in its case against the proposed Aquarium of New Zealand at Te Raekaihau Point.   We raised nearly $14,000 at the auction to help pay for our Environment Court costs.

DONATIONS STILL NEEDED TO PAY FOR ENVIRONMENT COURT COSTS

While the Environment Court case is over we still need your financial support to meet our legal costs.  We appreciate all those that have given money to date but we still need more.  Save the Point received funding from the Ministry for Environment Legal Assistance fund however we still need a lot more money.
