SaveThe Point Inc is working to protect Te Raekaihau Point (the headland that eats the wind) from development. The construction of the proposed Marine Education Centre and Aquarium of New Zealand will result in the loss of the natural and scenic values that make this coastline locally and nationally significant. Sales from this calendar will help fund the preservation of Te Raekaihau Point. |
