The aquarium developers and the Wellington City Council have withdrawn their appeals to the High Court.  Sooooooooooooo ...  it's over.  Thank you to everybody who supported the cause.  Many of you we never met.  Thank you for all your generous donations.  We have  now paid off all our costs thanks to your help and to a fantastic major donation.

We do not know what is happening with the proposal and whether or not they are seriously looking at a new site.  The Council has put on hold its loan in the latest draft annual plan for a couple of years.
