Judith Trevelyan was born in Wellington and studied at Canterbury University School of Fine Arts. She has exhibited widely in New Zealand and has won several awards. She enjoys working in watercolour and acrylic but has recently returned to oils and is concentrating on this medium at the moment. This painting is the latest of many that have been inspired by Wellington's South Coast.
